We were pleased that Bishop William Murphy, D.D., S.T.D., Ordinary of the Diocese of Rockville Center, was able to join us in celebrating Saint Joseph’s Day on March 19. Bishop Murphy was the main celebrant of the Mass and our five Resident priests concelebrated. Father Lochlan Cameron, a priest of the Rockville Centre Diocese and a friend of the Little Sisters, acted as Master of Ceremonies. We were pleased to have Mother Mary Richard and the Novitiate Community and Novices with us as we gave thanks to God for the protection and care of Saint Joseph to our Congregation. After Mass, Bishop graciously posed for a photo with the Little Sisters. That afternoon, the Residents were happy to come together in the auditorium and partake of the treats at the “St. Joseph’s Table.” Thanks to our kitchen staff and so many others, there was quite a spread from which they could choose!
