Preparations for the visit of Pope Francis to the United States in September are underway! Here at Queen of Peace, we all gathered for a “family portrait” to welcome the Holy Father. Surprisingly, you can see him in the midst of us! (You can see him better in the second photo.) A life-size cardboard picture of Pope Francis was placed in the auditorium for the lunch after the profession ceremony. For some of us, that will be the closest we will ever get to the Holy Father!
