Negative People Live and Work at Queen of Peace
(And for that we are most thankful!)
We hope this email finds everyone well and safe and dealing with our unusually cold weather. We are well aware that the concerns of the pandemic are still with us, and must be dealt with. At Queen of Peace, the safety and security of our Residents still remains our number one priority. We continue to practice our health and safety protocols and continue to review them in light of the latest guidelines from the NYS Department of Health. We continue mandatory testing of all Residents, Sisters and Staff as an added measure of safety.
We are happy to report that after two weeks of mandatory testing, our Residents, Sisters and Staff are all negative! We are most thankful for being negative and hope to remain so until the end of the pandemic. Being negative never felt so good.
With the colder weather of January, we continue a wide variety of indoor activities for our Residents to keep them busy and their spirits high. Be assured our planned activities will be enjoyable for our Residents while we maintain our safety protocols.
Queen of Peace will hold its Sixth Annual American Bandstand event on Thursday March 3 at Antun’s of Queens Village commencing at 6:30 p.m. A popular event, we anticipate a wonderful evening with a delicious sit-down dinner while being entertained by the world renowned Achhords. We really look forward to getting together with old and new friends alike. Invitations should be at your homes shortly.
Our trust in God’s Providence and Protection has never wavered. We continue to pray for the safety and good health of all of you.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We will get through this difficulty because we are not only partners in a Mission, but family members sticking together.
