Still Making Adjustments
The lingering effects of the pandemic along with the ever-increasing presence of the Delta variant of the virus, have caused us to make some adjustments to our September schedule of Activities.
This coming Labor Day weekend will feature an appropriately socially distanced Labor Day celebration and special luncheon for our Residents. We all will surely miss our Annual Labor Day barbeque out on the patio with our Residents and their families. However, the safety of our Residents must remain our priority.
Similarly, under the present circumstances, we also had to cancel our Annual Garden Party and replace it with a letter campaign containing “socially-distant raffle tickets”. We fondly remember past Garden Parties on our beautiful grounds, with the wonderful buffet luncheon, champagne, wine, and live music. And who can forget the dancing on the patio?
We pray that we may all be together again next year for the continuation of this wonderful Queen of Peace tradition.
We humbly thank you for your patience and understanding at this difficult juncture in the fight against COVID-19.
