Sister Elisabeth Anne recently had the opportunity to visit with a dear friend of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Robert Jesberger, of Mid Island Collison in Lakeview, NY. Robert is best described as the strong silent type, who goes about helping others in a quiet, unassuming way. He has a strong faith which guides his everyday life. He avoids recognition for his many kindnesses to others.
Despite this, Sister Elisabeth wanted to thank Robert in a special way for his many kindnesses to the Little Sisters and the Residents at Queen of Peace. She stopped by his office with a simple plaque to recognize the kindnesses Robert and Mid-Island Collision have provided to the Little Sisters. In his usual manner, Robert was reluctant to be in the spotlight and managed to hug Sister Elisabeth just as the picture below was taken.
The Little Sisters of the Poor and the Residents of Queen of Peace are most grateful to Robert and Mid-Island Collision for making such a positive difference in the lives of others.
