After intensive rehearsals, Residents, staff, volunteers and the novices from St. Ann’s Novitiate presented a passion play on April 9, 2014.
Medical Secretary Terry Langone offered some reflections.
“I really cannot say I sat through it from the beginning (Palm Sunday until the Resurrection). I felt as though I was right there in the crowd.
When the crowd shouted “Crucify Him”. I shouted just as loud as they did. I could actually feel how tired Jesus was when Simon came to
help Him carry the cross. What crime had Jesus really committed? He just preached about LOVE.
Tears came to my eyes as His mother met Him. How could she stand it? If it were my son I would have died right there. As they nailed Him
to the cross I wanted to say STOP THIS IS WRONG – But I, like Peter, was a coward.
Now He has arisen and His love and peace has been passed on to all of us.”
Thanks to all the participants for bringing the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ alive for us.
