Getting Ready To See My Friends Again
One of the many drawbacks of the present restricting health and safety protocols in place at our Home is of course, the inability of family members to visit our dear Residents. This also goes for the many friends that our Residents have.
One such friend to many of our Residents is Ginger. She is an eight-year-old German Shepard who has visited our Home on many occasions to spend some quality time with our Residents and of course, with our dear Sr. Alice.
Ginger’s visits are wonderful opportunities for our Residents to remember the pets they have had in their lifetimes and share those stories with us.
Ginger enjoys the genuine affection shown to her, not to mention the loving belly rubs. If Ginger could talk she would surely say she misses her friends at Queen of Peace. Ginger recently sent a picture of herself wearing a new set of pearls as she plans to dress up for her first visit back to our Home.
We all look forward to the time when family and friends may once again visit our Home.
