At the end of January, our social worker, Roberta Damen retired from Queen of Peace after ten years of faithful service to the Sisters and Residents. Roberta was usually the first person many of the Residents came to know when they first arrived at Queen of Peace. Roberta consistently made sure that each Resident was properly provided for, and that all the necessary records to be maintained or forms required to be filed for a Resident’s housing and medical care were properly done and maintained. Roberta’s dedication to the Residents and their well-being was a true example of love and respect in action. She will be missed.
Before Roberta retired we were able to have a social for her in the Coffee Shop which was attended by our Residents and Staff. We wish Roberta all the best in her retirement and greatly look forward to her joining our Auxiliary Committee.
Thank You Roberta
