Running Like a Top
Our Home has always remained fully operational and in good repair during the pandemic. The hot water is hot, the cooling system is ready for the summer, the lights remain on, the emergency generator is always ready to go online, the grounds are well kept, our outside furniture and walkways have been power washed, the interior painting projects continue, any plumbing repairs are made on time, the fire alarm system is regularly tested, our operational licenses and permits are all current, our fire inspections are timely completed, the electric outlets all work and the roof does not leak.
These are no small tasks in a building the size of our Home. In addition, the wide range of activities that occur daily and the number of staff who serve our Residents cause all of these tasks to be completed timely and completely. This vital work is done by our Facilities Manager, Jack Surdyka, Kazim Mohamed and Louis Espinosa. The facilities team has many years of dedicated service to our Home not to mention their depth of expertise in keeping our Home running like a top.
We are most grateful for their dedicated and compassionate support of our Home and their ever-present focus on the safety and security of our Residents.
